BOOKINGS & CANCELLATION TERMS
We are excited to have you join us on our tours and explore the beautiful country of Romania. Please carefully review the following terms and conditions regarding bookings and cancellations. These terms will govern the contractual relationship between “YOU”, the tourist, and HTR Group Ltd – Holiday to Romania travel agency. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms set forth below.
A. AGREEING TO THE BOOKING CONDITIONS
By using our travel services, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. You represent that you fully understand and accept all of the booking conditions stated here.
If you do not agree to these booking conditions, please do not use this website or book any services through us. We reserve the right to change or update the content of this agreement at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of this website indicates your acceptance of any additions or changes to the terms and conditions.
When you book a tour with Holiday to Romania Ltd., you are accepting these booking conditions on behalf of all individuals included in the booking. These conditions apply to all tours and services offered through Holiday to Romania Ltd’s websites and brand names.
B. BOOKING PROCESS
Tourists can make a booking either online, in writing, or through the staff of Holiday to Romania Ltd. after a specific tour and price have been agreed upon. In either case, an invoice for 10% of the tour value will be issued and sent for payment, serving as confirmation for Holiday to Romania Ltd. of the services requested by the tourist.
Upon confirmation of the booking, Holiday to Romania Ltd. will send a confirmation email. It is important to read this email carefully as it contains important information regarding your booked services. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your spam, junk, or bulk folders, and if it still cannot be found, please contact us.
C. SPECIAL REQUESTS
Tourists are expected to report any special requirements and medical problems at the time of booking.
Holiday to Romania Ltd. does not charge for the transportation of equipment (such as wheelchairs) required by passengers with physical disabilities.
Child seats can be provided free of charge. If you need a child seat, please let us know at the time of booking. However, we recommend bringing your own car seat for safety reasons.
If you are travelling with a seeing-eye dog or any similar assisting animal, please inform us at the time of booking.
If you have luggage that is larger or different in shape, please inform us before making the booking.
Tourists are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of at least 10% of the tour price for their booking to be confirmed. For flight ticket reservations, full payment is required at the time of the deposit payment. The deposit is used to secure your dates, book accommodations, and cover other tour elements. For private tours, full payment can be made upon arrival in Romania.
Payments can be made using major credit cards listed on the website, and Holiday to Romania reserves the right to charge any additional fees. If the booking is paid using another person’s credit card, a written authorization from that person may be required.
Online payments can be made using EuPlatesc (Visa/Maestro/Mastercard), PayPal or other money transfer apps.
For EuPlatesc payments, card information will be entered on a secure payment processor page.
Visa and MasterCard payments are processed through “3-D Secure” for added security. No card information is stored or transferred, and data is directly entered into the Visa and MasterCard systems.
To minimize the risk of credit card fraud, Holiday to Romania may perform random checks and request proof of address, a copy of the credit card, and a recent bank statement.
E. PRICE CHANGES
Tourists must pay the prices stated at the time of booking and changes in prices between the booking and travel dates will not affect the booking or give grounds for any claims. The prices of tours are guaranteed after booking and any cost increases will be covered by Holiday to Romania Ltd.
F. CANCELLATIONS BY THE TOURIST
All cancellations must be made in writing to Holiday to Romania Ltd. via email at [email protected]. After confirmation, the deposit will be forfeited. For bookings that include a flight ticket, the clients must pay the charges imposed by the airline. If the tourist misses a service due to last-minute illness, flight cancellation, etc., it is considered a “no-show” and no refund will be made. If a client decides to leave the holiday before it ends, the cancellation charge will be 100%. To cancel, email us and if you don’t receive confirmation, call us.
G. CANCELLATION BY HOLIDAY TO ROMANIA
In the unlikely event that Holiday to Romania Ltd. is required to make significant changes to or cancel a confirmed booking, the tourist will be provided with the following options:
Accept the revised arrangements;
Select a different tour offered by Holiday to Romania Ltd. (if a lower-priced tour is selected, the tourist will receive a refund for the price difference; if a higher-priced tour is selected, the tourist must pay the additional amount);
Cancel the booking or accept the cancellation made by Holiday to Romania Ltd. (the tourist will receive a full refund of their deposit).
H. TOURIST RESPONSIBILITIES
Smoking is prohibited inside our vehicles.
The outstanding balance for the tour must be paid by the tourist on the first day of their arrival in Romania.
Tourists must abide by Romanian law and maintain public order.
I. UNFORESEEABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
Holiday to Romania Ltd. shall not be held accountable for occurrences of force majeure, defined as events which are not predictable or preventable by us or our subcontractors, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, strikes, war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, etc.
J. HANDLING OF COMPLAINS
If a tourist experiences problems during their tour in Romania, they should inform Holiday to Romania Ltd. via their tour guide or the hotelier, carrier, or local agent. If they are not satisfied with the response, they can call the head office of Holiday to Romania Ltd. with full details to resolve the issue. Complaints made after the tour ends can be acknowledged but may not be resolved effectively.
K. PHOTOS AND TESTIMONIALS
Holiday to Romania Ltd. may use photos taken during tours for marketing and advertising purposes without charge. Feedback and images sent by clients are subject to the same conditions and can be used without special permission from their authors.
L. TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE
Please note that travel insurance is not included in our tour packages and we suggest clients purchase insurance of their choice at the time of booking. Clients are responsible for all visas, passports, immigration, quarantine, customs, health, and other requirements of visited or transited countries. Each person must carry a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond the end date of the tour. Holiday to Romania Ltd. is not responsible if clients do not comply with these requirements.
M. TIPPING GUIDELINES
Tipping is at the client’s discretion, but the recommended guideline for driving tour guides in Europe is 15-20 Euros per person per day. Any currency is acceptable and can be given directly to the tour guide.
N. DATA PROTECTION POLICY
Holiday to Romania Ltd. is dedicated to preserving the privacy and security of your personal information. The company has a comprehensive data protection policy which can be accessed through the provided LINK.
