BOOKINGS & CANCELLATION TERMS

This Agreement sets forth the Booking Conditions, Terms of payment, Cancellation, Tourist Guides gratuities and more between Holiday to Romania Ltd. and Tourists who book tours in Romania (“You”).

A. ACCEPTING THE BOOKING CONDITIONS

Requesting our travel services constitutes an agreement to all terms & conditions in this Agreement and you warrant that you understand, agree to and accept all Booking Conditions contained here.

If you do not agree on the Booking Conditions of our website, please do not use this Website or book services with us. We reserve the right at any time to change or update the content without prior notification. Continuing to access and use this Website implies your acceptance of any additions and alterations to the Terms & Conditions.

By booking a tour of Romania with Holiday to Romania Ltd., you are deemed to have accepted on behalf of everyone named in the booking these Booking Conditions, which constitutes the entire agreement between you and Holiday to Romania Ltd., your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The following conditions are valid for all tours and services, operated through the websites and brand names of Holiday to Romania Ltd.

B. BOOKING PROCESS

A booking is possible if made by a tourist either online or in written or by the staff of Holiday to Romania Ltd. when a certain tour and price have been agreed beforehand. In both cases, an invoice for 10% of the value is issued and sent for payment to the tourist, this represents the confirmation for Holiday to Romania Ltd. of the services, ordered by the tourist.

For confirmed bookings, Holiday to Romania Ltd. will send you a confirmation e-mail. Please read it carefully, as it contains important information about your booking services. If you did not receive your confirmation message, please check your spam or junk or bulk folders of your email and if you still do not have it please call us.

C. SPECIAL REQUESTS

The tourist should report any special requirements and medical problems at the time of booking.

We do not charge our clients for the transportation of the appliances (e.g. wheelchairs) necessary for our passengers challenged with physical disability.

Our company can provide child seats for free. If you demand a child seat, please inform us at the time of booking. If parents choose to use a car seat, we recommend they take their own to ensure safety standards.

If you wish to travel with your seeing-eye dog or any similar helping animal, please inform us at the time of booking.

If you travel with luggage of extra size or shape, please notice us before booking.

D. PAYMENTS

Tourists may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of at least 10% of the price of the tour for their booking to be confirmed. For the reservations of flight ticket is needed a full amount of the ticket to be paid as well at the time of the deposit payment. We will use this deposit to secure your dates, to book the best accommodations and to take care of all other elements of the tour. In the case of private tours, full payment can be paid at the arrival in Romania.

The payments can be made by the main types of credit cards recognized and presented in detail on the Website. Holiday to Romania reserves the right to charge any additional fees (or charges) that may occur at the time of the booking by credit card. In this case, you will be notified about any applicable fees. Holiday to Romania reserves the right to transfer the costs related to chargeback penalties. If your booking is paid by the credit card of another person, we reserve the right to require a written authorization from that person.

You can choose for online payment via EuPlatesc Payment processor (Visa/Maestro/Mastercard) or PayPal Online Payment.

If you will choose to pay “Online payment via EuPlateasc” method, you will need to fill out a form with your card information on the secured payment processor page.

– Credit / debit card payments issued under Visa and MasterCard (Visa / Visa Electron and MasterCard / Maestro) will be performed through the “3-D Secure”, a system developed by organizations providing on-line transactions at the same level of security as at the ATMs or in the physical environment at any merchant.

– “3-D Secure” assures in first place that no information related to your card is transferred or stored, at no time, on the store’s servers or on the payment processor’s servers, these data being directly introduced into Visa and MasterCard systems.

In order to minimize the risk of credit card fraud, before issuing the documents we reserve the right to perform, through the online payment processor, random checks, to request proof of your address and a copy of the credit card, as well as a recent bank statement.

Important to know! – There are no charges for bank card payments!

E. PRICE CHANGES

For all bookings, the tourists have to pay the prices presented at the time of their booking. If these prices change between the date of booking and the travel date in any way, this price difference has no influence on the bookings whatsoever, and serves no ground for any claim.

Once booked and agreed with the client, the prices of any tour (customized, private or shared) are guaranteed and they will not change, any possible cost increase will be absorbed by Holiday to Romania Ltd..

F. CANCELLATIONS BY THE TOURIST

All cancellations should be made in written to Holiday to Romania Ltd. on our corporate email: [email protected].

After the confirmation, the cancellation will be charged with the loss of the deposit. For bookings where a flight ticket is included, the clients should pay the charges imposed by the airline company.

If the tourist (e.g. transfer, tour etc.) due to last-minute illness omits a ground service provided by Holiday to Romania Ltd., flight cancellation etc. this is considered a “no-show” and no refund will be made. The same rule applies if a client decides to leave the holiday before its end and the cancellation charge will be 100%.

In order to cancel your booking please send us an email. If you do not get a confirmation of your cancellation by email, please call us.

G. CANCELLATION BY HOLIDAY TO ROMANIA

In the unlikely event that Holiday to Romania Ltd. needs to change significantly or cancel a certain confirmed booking, the tourist will be given the choice to:

1) Accept the changed arrangements;

2) Choose an alternative tour from Holiday to Romania Ltd. (if a cheaper tour is chosen the price difference will be refunded to the client; if it is a more expensive one, the difference should be paid extra by the client);

3) Cancel or accept the cancellations by Holiday to Romania Ltd. (full refund of the deposit will be obtained).

H. TOURIST RESPONSIBILITIES

Please notice that smoking is forbidden at the board of our vehicles.

The tourist needs to pay the remaining amount of money on the first day of their arrival in Romania.

The tourist need to respect Romanian law and public order.

I. FORCE MAJEURE

Holiday to Romania Ltd. shall not be held liable in cases of “force majeure” circumstances, herewith described as events, which our subcontractors or we cannot predict or avoid, such as terrorist activity, strikes, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire etc.

J. HANDLING OF COMPLAINS

If the tourist experience problems during their tours of Romania they must inform Holiday to Romania Ltd., the tourist guide or if there is no such person – the hotelier, carrier or the local agent. If you are not happy with their action in response, we would appreciate a phone call to the head office of Holiday to Romania Ltd. with full details of the case mentioned inside so that we can take proper measures in order to have this problem resolved immediately. Any complaints brought to our attention after the end of the tour could only be regarded but we regret in advance that no efforts could really be made at this later stage which would have made your holiday more enjoyable.

K. PHOTOS AND TESTIMONIALS

Images taken during our tours may be used by Holiday to Romania Ltd. without charge in all media for marketing or advertising purposes. Written feedback and images sent to the company by clients are also subject of the same conditions and can be used without special permission by their authors.

L. TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE

Please note that no travel insurance is included in our tour packages and we suggest that at the time of booking all clients consider purchasing an insurance of their choice. Clients are also fully responsible for all visa, passport, immigration, quarantine, customs, health and other requirements of the countries visited or transited. Each person must carry a valid passport, which should be valid another 6 months from the end date of the tour. Holiday to Romania Ltd. is not responsible if a client fails to ensure that they comply with these requirements.

M. TIPPING GUIDELINES

While gratuities are a reflection of the satisfaction of the client and they are at the tourist discretion, we would like to mention that the tipping guidelines for driving tour-guides in Europe are between 10 and 15 Euro per person per day. It can be paid in any currency to the tourist guide.
