Day 1: Bucharest Arrival – Brasov Walking Tour

On Day 1, your certified English-speaking tourist guide will meet you at Henri Coanda International Airport and take you on a scenic drive through the Romanian mountains to Brasov. Once you arrive, you’ll check into your hotel in the charming pedestrian area of the old town, where you can explore the many restaurants and outdoor cafes.
After settling in, you’ll embark on a walking tour of the Old Town of Brasov, a historic Saxon city with a rich heritage dating back to 1235. You’ll visit the magnificent Black Church, the largest Gothic style church in Southeastern Europe, which features a collection of over one hundred Muslim prayer rugs. You’ll also see Council Square, Catherine’s Gate, the Guild Towers, and the narrow Rope Street. The day will end with a glass of wine, an optional dinner in a nearby village can be arranged.

Day 2: Bran Castle – Saxon Village of Viscri with the Fortified Church – Exclusive Viscri Village Tour & Traditional Lunch – Brasov

Experience the legends of Transylvania on Day 2 of the Explore the Magic of Brasov tour. After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the stunning Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. This medieval fortress was built in 1377 and is an excellent example of Gothic architecture. Afterwards, you can browse local handmade souvenirs and gifts outside the castle.
Our next stop is the Saxon village of Viscri, where we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by our host in a restored Saxon house using locally sourced ingredients. Then, we will explore the village and its Fortified Church, built in 1100 by the Szekler population and later taken over by Saxon colonists. In an exclusive traditional tour, you’ll visit a blacksmith in his workshop and ride in a horse cart through the village.
Late afternoon, we’ll return to Brasov, where you can enjoy the evening in the lovely pedestrian area of the Old Town with its many restaurants and outdoor cafes.

Day 3: LiBearty Bear Sanctuary – Peles Castle – Bucharest Departure

On Day 3 of the tour, we will take you to visit the LiBearty Bear Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to meet more than 100 rescued bears and learn about their unique stories. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for bears that have suffered in captivity and offers them a chance to live in their natural habitat.
After the bear sanctuary visit, we will head to Sinaia, a beautiful mountain resort named after St. Catherine Monastery on Mount Sinai. Here, we will visit the famous Peles Castle, the summer residence of King Carol I of Romania and considered one of the most beautiful royal residences in Europe. The castle boasts impressive architecture and exquisite decorations, and its gardens offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. During the orientation tour of the resort, you will get a glimpse of the famous Casino building, inspired by the one in Monte Carlo.
Finally, we will drive you back to Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest for your return flight, saying goodbye to your guide and ending your Explore the Magic of Brasov tour.
